Crude sandals to protect and preserve.

Long days: sandy beaches, gravelly river banks or deserts—

grow tribes, families, towns, countries.

 

In the beginning—only flip flops and time.

Youthful love; splashed with the wet of creation.

Long years: children, migrations, settlements and peace—

grow governments, wealth, boundaries and scuffle.
